Come along and see how your lived experience of mental illness, addiction or substance abuse can transform into the the power of peer support to help people grow into and through recovery.
This session will cover the basics, looking at what mental health recovery is, what is peer support and it will explore the benefits of peer support, relationships, boundaries, language the role of our lived experience in supporting others. The session will also consider peer values and the framework that underpins peer support.
Booking is essential and Lunch will be provided.
