The Theme for this years Mental Heath Awareness Week is community.
Getting together to play games is recognised to be helpful for mental wellbeing. Engaging in board games with others allows us to build and strengthen relationships, develop empathy, and improve our communication skills. It fosters a sense of belonging and improves our overall social well-being. Board games are an excellent tool for breaking the ice and making new friends.
Join us at the Discovery College for Mental Health Awareness week to play a few games in a safe non-judgemental space. Take your pick of the games on offer and have an enjoyable afternoon in a space where anyone can belong. If the game that you like to play is not on the list, bring it along and we can all have a go.
